Respite Care has many opportunities for employment throughout the year for those interested in becoming childcare specialists. Our childcare specialists help care for children with special needs ages 6 weeks to 21-years-old.
All positions are part-time and require a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Training opportunities include First Aid, CPR, Universal Precautions, seizure management, behavior intervention, medication administration, People First Language and Sign Language skills. Respite Care staff become fully involved with our kids and families, allowing them to not only build valuable skills, but also to form lifelong relationships.
